General Information

GENERAL INFORMATION​

6. School Uniform:

(6.1) Boys-Navy blue terry cotton trousers with two pleets. White terry cotton or cotton shirts, black school shoes (Naughty Boy) with laces and white socks, navy blue blazers, neck-tie with proper house badge.

(6.2) Girls-Navy blue ‘A’ line frocks from Class Nursery to Class II. Navy blue ‘A’ line tunics and white terry cotton or cotton blouses (Class III to V). Navy blue skirts with pleets and white terry cotton or cotton blouses (Class V onwards), black school shoes and white socks, navy blue blazers, neck-tie with proper house badge.

(6.3) Sikh boys are required to wear white turbans or phatkas

7. Evaluation System:

(7.1) From class I to class V the evaluation system is based on Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation during whole of the academic year.

1. School Terms:
The academic year consists of three terms. Each term ends with terminal evaluation of
Students.

2. School hours:

(2.1) Nursery, Higher Nursery, KG : 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

(2.2) I, II, III & IV : 9.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.

(2.3) V : 9.00 a.m. to 2.40 p.m.

(2.4) I to V: online class to be held as per routine given from time to time.

Note:- i) Classes are held from Monday to Friday
             ii) Computer practical and other special classes are also held on Saturday
             iii)Online classes will be held in the evening hours.

3. Office hours:

(3.1)

School Office (Monday to Friday)  –  8.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.
Saturday                                               – 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.

Tiffin hours                                          – 1.30 p.m. to 2.30 p.m.

(3.2)  For Submission of school fees
Cash Counter remains open at  – 9.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
2.30 p.m. to 3.00 p.m.
(From Monday to Friday)
10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.
(Saturday)

(3.3)

To meet class teachers & subject teachers

Nursery, Higher Nursery, KG            – 12.30 p.m. to 1 p.m.

(3.4) School Co-operative remains open every day as per schedule given from
time to time.

4. School fees and other charges :

Details of fee scale & other charges are set out in the prospectus.

(4.1)

School fees are payable in advance and should be remitted to office normally
before 15th of each month. Payment after this date is subjected to a late fee of
Re. 1/- per day. Students whose fees are three months in arrear are liable for
their names be struck off the rolls.

(4.2) One month’s notice to take effect from the 1st of the month must be given before the removal of any pupil from the school

5. Attendance:

Students are required to attend a minimum of 75% of classes in one academic year. Students failing short of attendance will not be allowed to appear in the annual evaluation
process.

(7.3)  A student getting grade E in one or two subject(s), he/she will be required to take retest in the concerned subject(s) and will be promoted to the next class only if he/she gets a grade above ‘E’ (A-D) in the concerned subject.

(7.4) Students getting grade ‘E’ in more than two subjects will not be promoted to the next class.

(7.5) A student who misses an evaluation test will not be allowed to appear for it at a later date.

(7.6) Students failing in a class for two consecutive years will not be continued in the school.

8. General information for pre-primary classes:

(8.1) Nursery. Higher Nursery & K.G are the pre-primary classes. Agewise it is admissible 3+ years for Nursery 4+ years for H.N. and 5+ years for K.G. classes.

(8.2) Admission to these classes are made on first come-first serve basis by interview
only.

(10.5) Copy books, books and all other stationeries and school dresses are available from the school co-operative.

(10.6) Annual School Magazine CRUISER is published

(10.7) Co-curricular activities include among others sports, scouting, debating, quiz contest, annual tours etc.

(10.8) Extra curricular activities include art, painting, outdoor games, karate etc.

(10.9) Students with school uniform shall always speak and effectively communicate in English only.

(10 10) Students coming late in the school shall not be allowed to attend classes, Joining prayer line before school hours is compulsory.

(10.11) Guardians are not allowed to meet their wards during school hours without permission from the School Authority.

(10.12) Joining in-house activities is compulsory for the students.

(10.13) Students are not allowed to purchase food from outside vendors. They will either bring tiffin from home or they will purchase it from the school canteen.

(10.14) Carrying drinking water to school in water bottle is prohibited. Bacteria/germ free drinking water is provided in the school itself.

(10.15) School has developed its own software system, i.e. “Mindage Virtual Solution

11. I.Q. Test & Psychological Guidance:

Students may avail the opportunity of I.Q. Test and Psychological Guidance conducted by experts/institute on behalf of the school. The expert opinion is helpful for choosing fields of studies/other options to the students. Students need to pay separately for expert/ other institutional guidance.

12. Games & Sports:

Joining sports activities is compulsory for students. Apart from Cricket & Football teams. the school is having Badminton, Table Tennis and Chess teams for both boys and girls.

13. Dance & Music:

A separate department for Dance & Music operates in the school. Students willing to join these activities, may do so beyond school hours.

14. Physical Training:

All students are brought under compulsory physical training schemes.
